Magnets are composed of iron, cobalt, nickel and other atoms, the internal structure of the atoms is relatively special, itself has a magnetic moment. Magnets generate magnetic fields and attract ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt and other metals.
Type of magnet: Shape magnet: block magnet, tile magnet, special-shaped magnet, cylindrical magnet, ring magnet, disc magnet, magnetic bar magnet, magnetic rack magnet, attribute magnet: Samarium cobalt magnet, NdFeb magnet (strong magnet), ferrite magnet, aluminum nickel cobalt magnet, iron chromium cobalt magnet, industry magnet: Magnetic components, motor magnets, rubber magnets, plastic magnets and so on.
The midpoint of a bar magnet is suspended by a thin line. When at rest, its ends will point north and south of the Earth. The north end is called the North or N pole, and the south end is called the south or S pole.
If you think of the Earth as a big magnet, the Earth's magnetic north is the South Pole, and the magnetic south is the North Pole. Between magnets, magnetic poles with the same name repel and magnetic poles with different names attract. So the compass repels the South Pole, the North Pole repels the North Pole, and the compass and the North Pole attract.
